What No One Wants to Hear

What no one wants to hear and everyone wants to talk about is their health.
Many years ago, when finances were too tight to spend money eating out, I wanted to celebrate an occasion by going to a restaurant with a friend. We chose a medium-priced restaurant that had the look and feel of luxury and we expected to have a lovely dinner.
This restaurant had small rooms that gave you the feeling that you were important enough to be separated from the unwashed masses. Our first table was located in a relatively quiet spot and all of a sudden, the people at the next table started arguing very loudly.
My stomach started to cramp up. I thought about all the money we were spending on this meal only to have the food sitting like lead in our tummies and I asked our waiter to change our table. He was kind enough to take us to a different room.
The next room was also quiet and I could feel myself starting to relax. Too soon. The people at the next table spent the entire meal talking about their constipation, their surgeries, their aches and pains, and their doctors and their prescribed medications.
I don't know why people think their health problems are such riveting conversational subjects, but it seems as if that's all they can talk about.
Through the years, I've heard different diners from all walks of life talk about their constipation problems. Is this really such an interesting topic while you're eating dinner? In fact, is this really the kind of subject you want to have with someone who isn't a family member or a very close friend? But, even more to the point, shouldn't you be having this the kind of conversation with your doctor?
But the subject of surgeries, while you're swallowing what started out to be an excellent meal, is in a class by itself. First you're hearing about the diner's bowel movements, and everyone at that table has a constipation problem to tell the other diners. Next, you hear about the grisly surgery they've just endured.
I don't know what it is about restaurants that make people broadcast their health problems to the world at large, but I always have the wish they could have these conversations with their doctor instead of announcing it to a roomful of strangers.
Perhaps the trick is to see if you can spot a table of people in their twenties or thirties, who look healthy, and ask to be seated near them because they'll probably be talking about their dating problems rather than their health problems.

11 Major Health Tips For Living A Healthy Diet and Lifestyle

Indeed we have now gone beyond the first quarter of the year. Have you managed to maintain those New Year's resolutions regarding your intentions for a healthy diet and lifestyle? For many people staying on the white line that's consistent with attempts to keep up their intentions/promises of a healthy diet and lifestyle can be difficult.
The first thing to acknowledge here is that we are not perfect and prone to make mistakes then it's up to us all to recreate our intentions... and remember nobody at least not that I know achieves perfect health. The trick is to realize that it's ongoing so keep yourself fired up and inspired on how you can maintain that healthy diet and lifestyle!
-Responsibility is the key and caring for yourself by bringing thoughts and deeds into action. Keep educating yourself on this lifelong process while learning to discern is another key. So, here are my 11 major health tips for a living a healthy diet and lifestyle. I would strongly recommend putting these tips in your health strategies.
1. Eat plenty of raw food
A raw food diet allows you to get the full nutritional benefit in your food. Food like this doesn't get the vitamins and enzymes denatured (misshapen) through irradiation, heat or freezing and is therefore able to take part effectively in the body's metabolism...
2. Avoid eating too much at once
Eating in moderate amounts throughout the day allows you to keep your insulin levels normalized. Fasting intermittently also helps with insulin levels. Both situations can contribute to also maintaining or losing weight because of insulin normalization.
3. Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy fats
Don't fall for the marketing hype; you need good quality fats as part of an essential diet. For example, contrary to what's been said saturated fats are good for you. An excellent example of a good healthy saturated fat is coconut oil with multiple health benefits.
4. Choose organic
Organic food doesn't have chemicals laden as in the non-organic option. It is GMO free and has higher nutritional value...
5. Avoid GMO's
GMO foods have potential harmful effects from their 'toxic genes,' contain a number of chemicals used as herbicides, fungicides, pesticides and fertilizers... which can not only compromise the nutrition value but also cause potential harm.
Some GMO fruits have been known to contain 30 times more fructose than organic.
6. Alkalize you body
Eat foods that contribute to raising you body's pH for the healthier option.
7. Avoid junk foods
With their next-to-nothing (or nothing at all) nutrition value these toxic sugar laden, high salt foods have the effect of causing a whole range of health problems. Learn to discern this.
8. Drink plenty of good clean filtered or natural water
Having a plentiful supply of water for the body provides numerous health benefits.
9. Aim to get around 15-30 minutes direct sunlight a day
If not available say in winter times then try supplementing with vitamin D3 tablets. Around 5000 IU's a day will suffice...
10. Exercise around 15-20 minutes a day
There is some excellent information to be found online explaining the health benefits of exercise and why it is needed.
11. Have a generally upbeat/up happy attitude in life
Remember thoughts, feeling and emotions... your attitude in life manifest reality. Keep a close monitor on how you see life and if needed make the necessary changes.
-It is hoped that the reader has been encouraged to enquire and make the necessary changes for living a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Latim America CRO: What You Need To Know

If you are a medical professional or even vaguely concerned with the line of work, you may be familiar with the fact that every country has a contract research organization which is more commonly known as CRO with its responsibility to ensure that medical research within the premises of the country is being performed under the strict provision of professionals and is according to the rule and regulations which are determined not only by the law of the particular country itself, but also by large organizations of medical importance like WHO. Latin America is not far behind in this regard either. Latin America CRO ensures that all medical research is being carried out in an appropriate fashion. In order to give you a better understanding of CRO, we have mentioned a few of the aspects that accentuate its importance in the following part of the article.
To begin with, Latin America CRO ensures that none of the medical research which is being carried out with the premises of the country hurts or discomforts the natives in any way possible. There are certain conditions under which human trials as far as a medical research is concerned are absolutely banned. Latin America CRO ensures that such rules and regulations are being followed and none of the human beings are being put to risk during the course of research.
The Latin America CRO does also ensure that animal rights are being taken into consideration while performing the medical research. While animal rights are not nearly as strict as the human rights, it is however, obligatory for the researcher to take them into consideration before making a research in the aforementioned line of work. Generally hurting or pointlessly slaughtering the animals in the name of medical research is absolutely banned and this is what is kept in check by the Latin America CRO.
It lies within the circle of responsibilities of Latin America CRO to determine which of the medical research is progressing in a favorable fashion and is bound to bring forth positive results and which of them is a dead end? Having said that, it can almost be taken for granted that the authority lies with the Latin America CRO to determine which of the medical research is going to keep on getting the funds and which of them must be stopped at the moment as it is not likely to bring any favorable outcome.
Last but not the least, it is expected out of the Latin America CRO to make sure that each and every single product of medical importance that is manufactured as a result of such a research is absolutely safe for human consumption before it hits the market and becomes available to the general public. Provided that the product formed has a huge number of negative impacts associated with it, or the side effects outweigh the actual impact of the drug that is expected, it is CRO's responsibility to put an end to such a research and disable such a product from getting marketed.
Taking the above mentioned information into account, it is only fair to conclude that there are a number of different responsibilities which are associated with the Latin America CRO. And it won't be wrong to state that CRO has been performing its duties rather flawlessly. It is indispensable to mention here that Latin America CRO is an indispensable part of all medical researches which ensure that none of the research turns out to be a haywire and initiates an epidemic in order to do more harm than good.

Top Fitness Strategies: You No Longer Have To Live In The Gym To Be Fit!

How many times have you said this... "I need to do something to get back into shape."? If you're like most people, probably more than once. But what stopping you from doing it? What's stopping you for getting back into shape? Or, just getting into shape? Better yet, from just improving your overall health and fitness?
The more people I talk with, the more articles I read, one thing is becoming clear to me... the older I get, the less time I WANT to spend in a gym. Oh sure, there are exceptions all the time, but the days of my 2-3 hour workouts are gone. Those days of "having" to get to the gym are over. As much as I love the clanging of iron bars at the gym, reality is I'm busy with this thing called LIFE!
Back when we could go to the gym for those 2-3 hours, we enjoyed ourselves. Admit it, you had friends you talked to, people you hung out with and so on, which was perfectly fine... at that time. Remember, our life was different back then.
That was a time when we only had ourselves to worry about. That was the time when we had high priorities of listening to the right music while lifting. We worried about how much we could bench press. Remember those days? Fun times! I LOVED IT! But, time waits for no one and we all move on, right?
Please understand, I'm not saying we don't have time for a workout, I'm saying we can no long live at the gym! Does that make sense?
In other words, we have moved on with life and have become wives or husbands that have other priorities now, we can't focus our attention at getting that extra pump just to keep up with your gym buddies. Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm all for pumping up and looking good, but what I'm saying is things have changed for us. Do you agree?
So, what do we do about it? What do we do to get fit and healthy as our age gets higher and higher?
Do we go back to living at the gym? What's our other choices?
But Andrew, that's the only way I know how to workout. That's the way I used to do it and I have to go all out or I just won't do it.
Or, and I LOVE this one... "I have to put 100% into everything or I just won't do it."
No one says to not put 100% in, I'm just saying our priorities and our time commitment to the gym has changed. You can still put 100% in, but you'll be doing it differently than you're used to.
I've interviewed a LOT of Fitness Professionals, and unless your profession IS fitness, they all say you don't have to live in the gym to see results. 30-60 minutes a day, 4-5 times a week, is all you need. If you can do more, GREAT! But the days of living at the gym has gone by us my friend.
If you're 40+ years old, and you WANT to spend 2-3 hours a day at the gym, by all means, DO IT! I applaud you for it! You really have your stuff together, without question.
But, for the majority of us, that just won't happen.
Now, most of us just want to get back to feeling good about ourselves, like what we see in the mirror, and do it with worrying about taking time away from LIFE. I'm telling you it can be accomplished. There is hope without having to live in the gym. All it takes is a little bit of time, some commitment, sprinkle in some common sense in the eating department, and you'll start to see results quicker than you think.
Do I have all the answers and secrets? Nope, no one does. But, I'm giving you a way to get closer to those answers and secrets. I'm offering you a way to listen to people who understand your situation, who have been through it, who have worked with others in your situation. I do this on a monthly basis by interviewing Fitness Professionals from around the world.
And now, you too can hear these interviews, get the tips, tricks and secrets of the biggest names in the fitness world. Just go to http://www.TopFitnessStrategies.com and become a Fitness Insider! You'll be amazed at what's out there for you to grab on to.
There's no time like NOW to do it! http://www.TopFitnessStrategies.com
